Junior Technical Writer for Digital Products

We're looking for a Junior Technical Writer to join our growing team and serve as a bridge between innovative digital products and the people who use them every day. In this role, you'll test new applications across different devices and transform your user experience into straightforward, accessible documentation. Your insights into how features perform and where they could improve will directly impact how intuitive our software and mobile apps are for all users.

Roles: Most days you'll be downloading and testing apps on mobile devices, putting features through their paces, and writing thoughtful critiques that showcase what works well and what could be better.

Requirements: You'll need at least one smartphone or tablet—whether that's an iPhone, iPad, Android phone, or Android tablet—to test applications on.

Contract length: Ongoing arrangement with flexibility to continue as long as it works for both of us.

Rate: $35 per hour (compensation adjusts based on how complex the app is and how thorough your analysis needs to be).

Skills/background needed:

• Access to a smartphone or tablet and comfort installing and using applications
• Ability to work independently without constant check-ins
• Eye for detail and commitment to following directions accurately
• At least 5 hours per week available
• Reliable internet connection

Hours per week: Work whenever it suits you.

Location: Work from anywhere (we prioritize candidates based in the US). We're actively expanding our remote team for this initiative.
